Double Portrait - Unity in the Flow

The details in this picture were created by me drawing and painting them spontaneously, based on my own understanding of the couple, without needing any information about them from the couple themselves. The story behind the picture is as follows.

 Two people born in two different countries and cultures meet in yet another country and decide to be together. At the moment they embrace, the doors to their two separate worlds open to each other. This painting is an expression of two souls both complementing and liberating each other. The red "S" in the center places the initials of both individuals on the body of the embrace, making this portrait special for the couple.
 The vibrant petals of the flower blooming within the woman symbolize the outward expression of her zest for life and compassion. She always views life in such a way that every fall is a preparation for blooming again one day (the fall mentioned here is nourished by the emotional breakdown the woman experienced at the time the painting was created).
 The man, however, has his walls; the sense of self he carries, which he believes to be his own, reminds us of the defense mechanism he silently constructed during his upbringing. But beneath those walls, from an unusual place, the sun rises. In its warmest and largest beam of light, it draws its essence from the woman's color.
 The man's embrace of the woman becomes a silent declaration of trust, refuge, and completeness. It is the "Woman" who beautifies this moment, but it is the "Man" who creates it.
 The boundaries we believe define us (here, the woman's flower petals are actually delimited by lines, but the paint has spilled beyond them) are the subtle limits behind the colors that transcend us. While these imperfect drawings carry fragile memories of self-identity lines still whispered as two souls intertwine in a relationship, they actually emphasize that completion doesn't feed on one's own perfection, but rather on the necessity of redefining one's own boundaries in order to form a whole with one's partner.
